Here we provide information on upcoming calls for papers and conferences:
Registration is now open for ‘Embodying Life and Death: The Body in Anglo-Saxon England’ on the 22nd October, at Durham University. To see the programme or to register for the conference, see https://anglosaxonbody.wordpress.com/ .
The Late Summer Lectures are currently running at Durham University. This free series of public lectures brings together postgraduate students working on any aspect of narrative from any disciplinary perspective, and provides an opportunity to lecture to and receive questions from a non-specialist and often non-academic audience. Lectures start at 17.30 every Wednesday 17th August – 5th October, or you can join us for free refreshments before at 17.15. All lectures take place in Alington House, Durham. You can find more information via latesummerlectures.wordpress.com, facebook.com/LateSummerLectureSeries, @Late_Summer2016 or using the hashtag #LateSummerLectures.
Readers of this blog may be particularly interested in the three medieval lectures, on 24th August, 28th September, and 5th October.
